Its spectacular coastline, beautiful harbour, and cool streams through outstanding native forests,
all within easy reach of restaurants, service stations, and all normal services of a friendly country community make it a perfect destination for relaxed walking and cycling.
Walking includes the internationally renowned Cliff Top Walk along the spectacular coast, the Tanekaha Tramping Tracks on the southern slopes of the Brynderwyn Hills, local walks with outstanding views of the harbour such as the Goldschmidt Track, as well as walks further afield such as Te Arai Point, and Waipu Cove.
