Kiwi in our neck of the woods (4/12/18)

We are incredibly fortunate that 5 Kiwi have decided to set up home around our Tanekaha Tracks. They are Pedro and Marino, Teddy and Tiaki and a female name Gypsy. These Brown kiwi all migrated from Marunui where they were well looked after and loved. Brown Kiwi normally have 2 clutches with 1 or 2 eggs a year. Kiwi live around 30 years in the wild if protected from dogs, stoats and other predators.
